September is off to a serious start at Astrocade, with new creations popping up every day. We’ve picked a few of our favorites that stand out from the pack. Each shows off what makes the platform fun: a mix of creativity, fan culture, and genres that are constantly evolving.
Fans of the Roblox survival hit will recognize the inspiration here, but 99 Minutes in the Forest has been rebuilt from the ground up for Astrocade. Players gather resources, fend off waves of danger, utilize the crafting table and, of course, rescue mysteriously missing children—all while trying to make it just one more night in the forest. The core survival mechanics feel authentic, but the vibe is more casual and welcoming, making it easy to jump into for just a few minutes at a time. The creator has been actively updating it too, adding new challenges and features that keep the experience fresh.
Astrocade has no shortage of silly or lighthearted games, but sometimes players are in the mood for something scarier. Long Night of Labubu delivers… well, both. The game taps into the insane trend around the Labubu doll, of course, but makes effective use of timing and exploration mechanics from classic horror games. The atmosphere is eerie, the pacing is unsettling, and the scares feel earned rather than cheap. It’s topical and timeless at the same time, which is exactly what Astrocade is about.
Descend into the darkness of a house allegedly haunted by a malevolent force, the lone priest willing to banish its unseen evil... or even willing to try. Nothing can prepare you for the dread lurking within its walls, from hair-raising sounds to the inexplicable movement of objects beneath the shadows. But your true challenge is the demonic spirit behind it all, awaiting you with icy anticipation as you take one step after another towards the place that may well be your tomb.
Play this authentic fan-made tribute to the Stephen King classic before the movie hits theaters. This game’s tapping dynamic cleverly translates the endurance test at the heart of the story—a seemingly endless walk down an endless road while armed guards ensure no one quits—into the mobile phone equivalent. How far can you go? How long can you tap?
Lastly, in a demonstration of how much remixing can change a game, check out Super Sayian Lawn Saga, which puts a Dragonball Z spin on… lawn mowing? Also here’s the original (and very fun!), Turf Trim, for comparison.
These new games show how varied September’s creations have been. From survival to action to horror, Astrocade’s library keeps expanding in ways that reflect both the creativity of its community and the speed at which ideas can turn into playable games. Whether you’re in the mood to outlast the forest, blast through zombies, or test your nerves against Labubu, there’s something new worth jumping into this month.
