How to Play

Start: Hold attack to break a tree. Walk over the logs to collect them. Craft planks → crafting table → wooden pickaxe. Mine stone for better tools.

Before dark: Build a shelter with torches and a door. Zombies appear on dark ground at night. Tools hit harder than fists. Sunlight burns zombies; shade and water protect them. A full day and night lasts 15 minutes by default.

Verity: The yellow ball is your companion. Talk to him for help. He likes company and gifts. His bar shows happiness: 100 = happy, 0 = fully upset. At zero, he becomes a monster. Story events can also make him change.

Chat and saving

Your world saves in this browser. The journal's Forget Chat button clears only the conversation and what Verity remembers about you.

On Astrocade, chat may use hosted AI. It receives your messages and a short game summary. It cannot see your files, camera or microphone. Without hosted AI, Verity uses replies written for the game. Each reply is labeled.
